Description: Explore the new 4-mile trail in East Canyon Preservation Area. We'll look for interesting rocks, fall vegetation and signs of critters as we hike along the canyon rim, cross Cherry Creek, go up a side canyon and onto the undulating eastern prairie. Dress for the weather and bring water and lunch. Meet Volunteer Naturalist Peter Laux at the Visitor Center. This hike is limited to 10 so please call 303-688-5242 to reserve your place.
