Troop 88 and the Town of Parker completed three Eagle Projects within the last year. First, a foot bridge was constructed between Living Wheel Park and the Parker Library. This project changed an ad-hoc foot path into a beautiful and safe walkway.
A second project placed mile markers along Sulphur Gulch. This added to the existing Cherry Creek mile markers. People now can measure their distance while using the bike path.
Lastly, a third project constructed and placed bat houses along Sulphur Gulch, Tallman Park, and the Cherry Creek bike path. Hopefully, the mosquito population will be drastically reduced this year.
Our community is a much better place to live with the help of a few good men. We are fortunate to have so many dedicated boy scouts helping the Town of Parker.
Troop 88 meets every Tuesday night at 6:30PM at the Parker Presbyterian Church (PEPC). 9100 E. Parker Road (up East Main Street past Canterberry). You can visit our website at http://troop88.org for more information.
