DouglasCountyLibraries.org) is offering a travel series Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. throughout the month of April.
-UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Wednesday, April 2 at 7 p.m. Join Jose Goncalves as he takes you to some of the most splendid and exotic places in the world, like Egypt, Spain and Guatemala, designated by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites.
- Alaska and Travel Tips for any Trip: Wednesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. Besides learning expert advice on planning your next trip, Mindy Ricker will introduce you to areas of Alaska, including Anchorage, Skagway, Ketchikan and Juneau, through pictures and history.
- Galapagos Islands: Wednesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. Visit three of the Islands of the Galapagos Archipelago with Kathy Ullyat as she shares information and photos of a myriad of wildlife including sea lions, giant tortoises and more.
