The Sex Pistols made the worse punk rock music ever. They were in fact pioneers of their style and the Punk Rock that spawned from it was better. Despite the crappy Disco music in the 70s, they did make a mark in music history, and it was horrible.

Listening to them can only inspire new Punk bands to strive to be better, and it's not a tough thing to achieve.

Also their two most notable 'popular' songs only sound good by the other bands that covered them. What a horrible manufactured band they were.
