Sweet dreams are not made of the Eurythmics

Editor's note: We're looking for your posts about the bands that you think are the very worst. Please visit Brendan Leonard's blogto learn more.

I can't stand Annie Lennox, with her weird hair and crazy glasses. I do not like to watch her mouth while she croaks out the words to strange tunes with Dave Stewart.

"Sweet Dreams are made of Cheese..."

I am not sure she is really saying "this." The video for Sweet Dreams has cows in it, so there you go.

This duo is truly a Thorn In My Side.

They were popular in 1983, and now you can hear terrible songs by (the) Eurythmics on KOSI 101 about 652 times a day. Note: They like to be called just Eurythmics with no "the" in front.

If you play the song No Fear, No Pain, No Hate backwards, I am pretty sure Satan is talking directly in your ear.

I would rather be Walking on Broken Glass than listening to her songs. Ever. I am afraid it makes my ears bleed.

I make it a rule never to listen to music by a woman who looks like she could kick my a**.

I can see how overkill can make a listener sick of the Eurythmics. And Brendan, even Emily Dickinson, famous for "slant rhyme" or "near rhyme" wouldn't attempt to rhyme "this" with "disagree".

I totally dislike Annie Lennox, but I don't hate her. I really hate it when people twist the pronunciation of words to make them rhyme, i.e., "this" and "disagree."
