Parker has many very good Cub Scout Packs that offer constructive growth for our first- through fourth-grade boys.
In general, the Cub Scout calendar year follows that of the tradition school calendar -- September through May. During this time, the different packs have more structured activities and events; however; the school year is not the only time the Scouts get together.
Our pack provides a number of events to keep the boys and families busy during the summer months. We participated in the annual Parker Days parade in June, there are a number of day and overnight camps for the boys to participate, we do local community service projects, a day of fishing at a local lake, hikes in some of the newly opened Douglas County Open Spaces, with great guides like
Al Snook leading an educational and fun hike, family overnight camps and much much more. If you have a son in first through fourth grade wanting to join an exciting group, come see what scouting is about.
