Troop 88 doing time
Contributed by: Susan Baggett on 3/11/2007

Have you ever wondered what it would like to be in jail?

That's what some of our local boys of Troop 88 found out recently when they took a tour of the Arapahoe County Jail - a requirement for earning their Crime Prevention / Finger Printing Merit Badge.

Deputy Sheriff Baggett took the boys and bigger kids (Moms & Dads) on a tour of the jail showing them the dispatch center, a holding cell and gave details of what a typical day is for someone who spends time at Arapaho County. Along with the tour - they were able to see inside a holding cell and other fuctions of the jail and meet other officers and learn about their jobs during the tour.

If you are a boy 11 years and up who enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, site seeing, AND MORE! Please come visit Boy Scout Troop 88 in Parker. We are the largest troop in the area and have a lot of fun.

Troop 88 meets every Tuesday night at 6:30PM at the Parker Presbyterian Church (PEPC). 9100 E. Parker Road (up East Main Street past Canterberry).
You can visit our website at www.TROOP88.ORG or call Scoutmaster, Joe Skalisky, 303-805-0337 for more information.
