My Conversation with Wil Armstrong on Free Speech

Wil Armstrong is my choice for Congress.
I talked to his office and told him my concerns on Campaign Finance Laws and the negative affect they have on our Freedom of Speech. I want to know which candidate is looking out for our 1st Amendment Rights. Just as important, I want to know who wants to abridge them.
Republicans claim to protect the Constitution and will even point out the 2nd Amendment but little is said of the 1st. In fact McCain with the McCain/Feingold Act and Colorado Secretary of State Mike Coffman, imposing even more Campaign Finance Laws recently, do not pass the test.
Democrats claim to protect Free Speech but what I've witnessed is all speech is allowable (David Lane and Churchill for ex.) I'm not an absolutist. I believe plagiarism and slander ought not be protected speech. Shouting over another person is not acceptable. Posting yard signs for a cause or candidate, encouraging dialogue, or distributing fact sheets so people can make a more informed decision are; or most certainly, originally were intended to be. (This last sentence is exactly what myself and other neighbors did and were sued for under Campaign Finance Laws.)
Libertarians have the best record for protecting our Constitutuional rights.
I wouldn't approach a politician and lobby for special interest. I don't see the 1st Amendment as favoritism for a small select. It's huge. It's non-partisan. It is also critically important that it stays intact. I think Thomas Jefferson would turn over in his grave if he learned of Campaign Finance Laws.
Wil Armstrong gave me a call the same day I contacted his office. I thanked him for that since this is such a busy time for the candidates. He heard me out, told me he thought he'd heard of the story that happened to me and my neighbors, and he agreed that our 1st Amendment rightsare to beprotected. He said he disageed with McCain on the McCain/Feingold Act and disagrees with McCain on the borders issue. Over all and over Obama, he does support McCain. He said people shouldn't have to go through piles of paper to discuss an issue or candidate (asCampaign Finance Laws dictate), and that less government interference would be better.
Wil Armstrong strikes me the same way as Mitt Romneydid. They are proven real world, businessmen. They are results kind of guys and they share my conservative platform.
I closed by telling Wil, I hoped he gets elected and please be aware that our 1st Amendment rights are in jeopardy.
Looky here, I just exersized my right to express myself while I still can.
