Register to vote in the general election by Oct. 6

Citizens interested in voting in the 2008 Presidential Election must register to vote by Monday, Oct. 6. Registration forms are available online at DouglasVotes.com on the left hand side of the page under "Forms" as well as in all of the Douglas County Motor Vehicle Offices and the Clerk & Recorder's Office.

Voters may also check a box on their registration form to sign up for a Mail-In Ballot. Voting by mail is the easiest method of voting because voters can vote in the convenience of their own home, and don't have to drive to a polling place and wait in line.

Complete the registration form and return it before Oct. 6 to the Douglas County Clerk & Recorder's Office by:

· Mailing it to P.O. Box 1360; Castle Rock, CO 80104

· Dropping it off at 301 Wilcox St. in Castle Rock

· Faxing it to 303.688.3067
