What is your passion in life? What are you doing with your life? What is your cause? What are you doing to help someone today?
Those were all the questions I have been asking myself for a few years now as I have picked up endless counts of Cheerios and done more loads of laundry than will ever be remembered. Oh yes, I love my boys. All of them. Josh is 8, Jake is 2 and the twins, Jett and Jonah are 1. And I sure love my big boy, my husband who made all of this possible and has listened to me ask these questions. What do you do when your passion is no longer spit-up and play-dates?
What is your passion? What are you doing? What is your cause? Who are you helping?
The questions became more clear, more firm. I need to do something.
The Yellow Rose Consignment Store, "Consignment with a Cause". A new Women's Consignment Store here in Parker. The "cause" is to help support women and families in need here in Douglas County. You will find at The Yellow Rose that single moms can come and choose freely from our donated items. You will find that women are making some extra money to help pay for gas or pay for that new outfit needed for a new job that is required of her now or a woman who wants to redecorate! You will find at The Yellow Rose a warm welcome and a helping hand. Rich or poor, everyone is welcome! Women supporting women within our community. Women of all shapes and sizes, all have stories to tell. And doesn't it feel nice knowing when you make a purchase, you are helping a women in need with a percentage going directly to organizations supporting women and those they love right here in our communities?
I found my passion. I know what I am doing. I know my cause. I see who we help daily. Now back to the Cheerios.
