It's raining cats and dogs

Ian Graham with Boy Scout Troop 469 is collecting pet supplies and cash donations to help a shelter flooding with cats and dogs.

He will be taking collections to benefit the Dumb Freinds League and the Buddy Center in Castle Rock. The collection days are May 31 at Wal-Mart in Parker from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on June 1 at Safeway in Parker from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Any help is greatly appreciated. A wish list of supplies needed will be available at the stores on the day collections are held. Due to the increase of admissions the shelter will need all the help it can get.
