Area YourHub bloggers get together

In what has become a monthly gathering, YourHubbers from around the Denver area met last week, April 15, at the Wynkoop Brewery in downtown Denver. For people who read YourHub and especially people who write for YourHub, the monthly get-together is a good way to see the faces behind the stories, share ideas, and get to know the community.

The Wynkoop Brewery has become a favorite site because of its central location and access to public transportation. Many YourHubbers are socially responsible and find RTD access to the downtown area to be exceptional. The food at the Wynkoop is decent, reasonably priced and always paired with a microbrew. They also have a pretty good root beer.

For me, I love the historic location and the architecture of the area. At this event, we shared our opinions about our favorite stories, swapped some recipes, and just enjoyed each other's company. There was a good representation of the YourHub community from around the Denver area with many different hubs in attendance.

The YourHub get-together is not an exclusive event. Any and all who are interested are welcome to attend. The usual meeting is the second Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Wynkoop Brewery right across from Union Station downtown, but the site, date and time are not set in stone.

If you are interested, the best idea is to send in your e-mail address to be put on the notification list, but, if you roll the dice and just show up, we will still be happy to have you.
