We hadn't seen him since Halloween 2005. He seldom ventures out during daylight hours because he can't deal with people making fun of him. "Perhaps its because I get a little ripe this time of year," he told us. "I'm a pretty sensitive guy," he insists.

At any rate Mr. PH, as he likes to be called, assured us he will be around on Halloween night. He sleeps in a nearby pumpkin patch which is "kinda the pits," he told us, "especially when the nights are really cold."

So when you are out trick-or-treating, be sure to watch for Mr. PH, and don't be scared. Inside he is just a softy, unless you refer to him as "pie for brains." That really ticks him off.
