We have several wood cut-outs. I do the cutting, my wife does the painting. I have been switching everything out to LED's.

About 2/3rds of our display consists of LED's. They are amazing! If you use the commercial ones, you can connect up to 150 light sets on one plug. It takes me about four weekends to put everything up.
