While the calendar says the golf season is just about over, the kitchen is still as busy as ever at Spring Valley Golf Club's two restaurants.
"You don't need to be a golfer to come out and enjoy a good meal with us," said Food and Beverage Director
John Croce. "We are open Tuesday through Sunday nights in Elbert's and our grill is open daily for those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere."
Among Elbert's featured dishes are Certified Hereford beef steaks, Colorado lamb T-bones, North Atlantic salmon and double bone Iowa pork chops, all of which can be paired with a bottle of wine from Elbert's award-winning wine collection.
Elbert's also offers a brunch on Sundays and holidays. On Thanksgiving Day, the brunch will be served 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and reservations are requested.
"The cook in your home will be thankful for the day off, while the entire family can enjoy the festive meal in the Elbert's family atmosphere," Croce said.
The Thanksgiving Day brunch will feature the traditional turkey with all the fixings, as well as prime rib, smoked salmon, snow crab, pork tenderloin, pastries, salads, eggs, waffles and desserts.
Elbert's is open from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Normal Sunday brunches run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with expanded hours for Thanksgiving Day. Spring Valley Grill is open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, offering more casual dining such as hamburgers, sandwiches and pizza.
Both restaurants are located at Spring Valley Golf Club, north of Singing Hills Road at 42350 County Road 17-21 - about eight miles east of Parker. For more information or to make a reservation, call 303-646-4240, extension 24.
