Praying Hands Ranches, a non-profit organization founded in 1987, will host their 18th Annual Sweetheart Spaghetti Dinner to benefit the needs of handicapped children and adults at its therapeutic ranch center in Parker, Colorado.
“Every year, we host this fundraiser as one of two important events that serves as the means to carry on our work,” said Shirley Hanson, co-founder of Praying Hands Ranch. “Families of handicapped children and adults have come to rely on us to help their loved ones build self-esteem and independence while learning to overcome their fears.”
In February 2005, the 17th Annual Spaghetti Dinner netted $13,000 with 300 in attendance. Praying Hands Ranches hopes this year's event will be just as successful.
The fundraiser is a family event and takes place Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the Praying Hands Ranches beginning at 6:00pm. The dinner includes a silent auction and live music by the rock and roll band The Johnson Project.
Tickets for this event cost $12.00 for adults ($15.00 at the door) and $5.00 for children. Tickets can be purchased by calling (303) 841-4043.
