Deputies recognized as traffic safety heroes
On 8/24/2007
Contributed by: DCSO on 9/7/2007

On Aug. 24, many officers throughout the state were recognized at the "Traffic Safety Heroes" event, which was held at the Westin Westminster Hotel.

Two Douglas County deputies were among those that received recognition at this event.

This event was created to honor officers in Colorado for DUI Enforcement in 2006 and Click it or Ticket Enforcement in 2007. The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) combined these two awards because traffic safety includes many disciplines that strive toward the same goals; decreased fatalities, injuries and crashes.

Deputy Jason Cirbo came to Douglas County in 2005 with over 10 years of previous law enforcement experience. He has been the DUI Enforcement Officer for the Sheriff's Office since 2006. Since 2006, Deputy Cirbo has over 150 DUI arrests which shows an extreme commitment to the safety of those that travel in
Douglas County.

Deputy Brian Cogil has been with the Sheriff's Office since 2000 and has been assigned to the traffic unit as the Road Rage Officer since 2004. Deputy Cogil has written over 80 seat belt violations since the beginning of 2007. His commitment to traffic safety is commendable.

"The initiative that these deputies have to the overall traffic safety for those that live in and visit Douglas County should be applauded. I am extremely proud to have these deputies in my ranks", stated Sheriff David Weaver.

Keep in mind my brother is in Law Enforcement as a Homicide Detective, and he will certainly help, as he won a suit agaisnt the Compton, California, police for wrongful arrest as well. These "peace" officers will simply be up against ALOT. I know their pasts, I know Jason Cirbo was struck on 12:23 by a hispanic person, and that being said, his conduct with me especially based on proveable false arrest... is bigotry. Start from earliest post, not the one on top.

In all honesty, Jason Cirbo has no concept of due process, no concept of professionalism, and no concept that he is NOT above the law. (he is a bigot) He seems to hate Hispanics because he was injured on 12/23 of 2006 by a Hispanic woman driving. He's simply SOL, when the time comes, and Jason Weaver is also. Frankly they have just never met up with someone who is as intelligent as I am, who knows what it takes to sue them. Or can simply show what the TRUTH is. Nor will they see it coming. By then, they will have forgotten and will have a hard time fighting it, and we are talking settlement.

I have a lawsuite pending against Jason Cirbo and Jason Weaver (David Weavers son) Cannot wait until my lawyer pounds this guy. Seems a lot of crooked cops are "veterans". With Jason Weaver serving over D0eputy Cirbo, it is no surpise why the misconduct is rampant.
