Anita Whelchel is celebrating her 10th Anniversary as manager of the National Writers Press. National Writers Press is the branch of the National Writers Association responsible for assisting self-publishing authors with producing a high-quality book which can compete with publications released by major New York publishing houses.

The press, under Anita's direction has received several awards including the prestigious Evvy Award given by the Colorado Independent Publishers Association for the Bartenders Little Black Book .

Anita, 28, is a lifelong Parker area resident and a graduate of Pondersosa High School.
