Stealth pilot touches down with 1,000 hours

Maj. Peter Wilkie flew his final flight at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico this April. He flew the "Dragon,"an F-117A plane painted with daylight camouflage. This flight also marked 1,000 hours of flight for Wilkie.

He has orders to serve with the Seventh Air Force headquarters in South Korea and will live there for two years with his wife Stepanie and their four children. This assignment is a necessary requirement toward his Lt. Colonel rank.

Wilkie is a graduate of Ponderosa High School and is the son of Mary-Jane Wilkie, of Parker.
