The Chaparral High School Poms held a car wash fundraiser May 31 at the Kwik Car Wash, 16941 Lincoln Ave., in Parker. The money raised will help the varsity and junior varsity poms teams compete in the upcoming year.

Coach Amber Peterson said the team raised about $300 in donations and along with half the proceeds from the car wash, raised about $800 in all.
