Midsummer merriment for all
Contributed by: Kristin Hayek on 7/11/2008

"O wonderful, wonderful, and most wonderful wonderful, and yet again wonderful, and after that, out of all whooping!" As You Like It

Civic Green Park (9370 Ridgeline Boulevard, Highlands Ranch) is the place for laughter, sunshine, and fun as it hosts Midsummer Merriment, Saturday, July 29 from 10 a.m. to noon. Douglas County Libraries invites families to the park to celebrate Shakespeare and the Elizabethan era. Laugh as a jester entertains with juggling and jokes. Dance and play to music: enjoying games and a maypole. Demonstrate your creativity with arts and crafts. Come and participate in all this, plus more! This free program is for people of all ages. No registration necessary. To learn more about this program and other events that make up the Shakespeare Festival, stop by your library, call 303-791-READ, or visit us online at DouglasCountyLibraries.org.
