Is it getting hot in here? Ms. Kerry Masson will speak on the latest advances and what the future holds in renewable energy research and development at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9 at the Warhorse Inn (19420 E. Mainstreet) in historic downtown Parker.
The talk by Masson kicks off Café Current, a new Parker Library series focusing on tomorrow's banner news. The lectures, followed by a discussion facilitated by the speakers, are free.
Massons's talk will cover solar, wind, and biomass technologies as they can and will impact the everyday lives of consumers in their homes, cars, and communities. Ms. Masson is director of the office of Public Relations for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden and she will discuss what the laboratory does and provide some anecdotes about people using renewable energy.
No registration required. For more information about Café Current or the renewable energy talk, please contact Jeanie Straub or James Vallejos at the Parker Library by calling 303-791-READ.
