Authors @ Douglas County Libraries is a locally-produced show on Comcast Channel 8 in Douglas County, featuring interviews with published writers from our community. If you miss the show airing on DC 8, you can log on to DouglasCountyLibraries.org, go to the Books tab and pull down to Authors at DC Libraries to watch these exciting programs. Find out what makes these writers tick, and just how these books come to be written. It's hosted by Jamie LaRue, author and Library Director of Douglas County Libraries.

Right now, watch interviews with:

· Jason E. Gray and Alan Harris: co-authors of ...And We Fished Some More, a look at how childhood fishing trips led to greater lessons about life . Gray is also owner of the Crowfoot Valley Coffee shop.

· Liz Holzemer: a freelance writer who covers a variety of topics including health, women's issues, personality profiles, travel, baseball, and most ideas that occur during one of her shower epiphanies. Her experiences with a brain tumor and breast cancer inspired her first book Curveball: When Life Throws You a Brain Tumor.

· Clinton McKinzie is a surfer, rock climber, and Arctic adventurer. He is the Deputy District Attorney in Arapahoe County, and once held the same job in Douglas County. He's the successful author of gripping and complex crime fiction including Badwater and Crossing the Line.
