Parker Task Force and Food Bank will host a major food drive on June 17th, 2006 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Parker Food Bank, in conjunction with 9Cares Colorado Shares, will be collecting food donations at the Task Force located on 20118E. Mainstreet. Donations will also be collected at the two area Kingsoopers and Safeway stores. The Parker Task Force and Food Bank is a non-profit organization that provides short-term assistance to Parker, Franktown, and Elizabeth residents in need. Non-perishable foods, toiletry items, and monetary donations are graciously accepted. Dominos Pizza is providing lunch to the many volunteers who are on-hand to collect and sort donations. Please help keep our food bank stocked for the coming months!
