Blotter: Port-a-potty set ablaze

NO LICENSE, NO INSURANCE, NO SERVICE
At about 12:30 a.m. April 24, an officer pulled over a motorist driving a vehicle without license plates near Mainstreet and Pine Drive. The 27-year-old driver's license was suspended and his insurance was expired. The driver smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot, watery eyes. After failing voluntary roadside sobriety maneuvers, he was arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.

FORT COLLINS MAN ARRESTED FOR LURING
A 27-year-old Fort Collins man was arrested April 29 after he attempted to lure what he believed were 13- and 14-year-old girls over the Internet. The man faces two counts of Internet luring of a child and 18 counts of Internet sexual exploitation of a child. The sheriff's office says the man started the online conversations in early March. Detectives arrested the man in Fort Morgan with the assistance of the Fort Morgan Police Department.

MORPHINE STOLEN FROM ANIMAL HOSPITAL
An employee at Animal Hospital Center, 5640 E. County Line Road, in Highlands Ranch reported someone stole five bottles of morphine sometime between April 4 and 30. The medicine was estimated at $53.65.

JUVENILE ARRESTED FOR OBSTRUCTION
A Castle Rock juvenile was arrested April 29 after he allegedly hesitated when asked by a deputy to put down a knife he was holding. A deputy reported he pulled over the juvenile at 11:45 p.m. near the intersection of South Parker Road and Lincoln Avenue for failing to use a turn signal while switching lanes. When the officer asked him if he had any weapons, the juvenile said yes. The deputy said he would get the weapon, but the teen reached for the knife in his pocket. The deputy pulled out his gun and the teen dropped the knife in his lap, but still acted as if he was going to grab it, so the deputy pulled him out of the car and handcuffed him.

MAN ARRESTED AT LODO'S
A 23-year-old Littleton man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct at 12:17 a.m. April 27 after he allegedly got into a fight with the bouncers at Lodo's Bar and Grill. The man was being escorted out of the bar at 8545 S. Quebec St. bar after he had been kicked out when he suddenly pushed over a bouncer and attempted to run away. He was tracked down and detained until a deputy arrived and placed him under arrest.

PORT-A-POTTY SET ABLAZE
A port-a-potty in Fox Sparrow Park, 4728 Fox Sparrow Road, in Parker was set on fire at around 11:45 p.m. April 26. The fire was put out. The damage was estimated at $2,000, according to the county.

WOMAN CAUGHT STEALING MEAT, CHEESE
A 61-year-old Castle Rock woman was issued a summons for theft April 26 after she was allegedly caught stealing several items from a grocery store. A security guard reported he caught the woman stealing at 12:20 a.m. from King Soopers, 7284 Lagae Road, in Castle Pines North. Among the items she stole: two packages of cheese, one package of turkey meat, one pound of hamburger and three avocados. The loss was estimated at $32.94
