DRIVER ADMITS TO DRUNKEN DRIVING

A motorist was pulled over for weaving and careless driving at about 10 p.m. May 13 at the intersection of Stonehenge Way and Seibert Circle. Two witnesses said they saw the motorist strike a curb in front of town hall. The driver, a 28-year-old woman, smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot, watery eyes. The 28-year-old driver said she had four to five drinks before driving. "I won't lie," she said. "I decided to drive." After failing voluntary roadside sobriety maneuvers, she was arrested on suspicion of DUI and careless driving and transported to the Parker Police Department.

MAN CLAIMS HE WAS SHORT-CHANGED
At about 8 p.m. May 14, police were dispatched to McDonald's, 10011 Jordan Road, on a report of an intoxicated man inside the restaurant. A 40-year-old man apparently ordered food from the drive-thru and was upset he did not get back correct change from a $100 bill. He then went inside the restaurant and sat at one of the tables. An officer observed the man smelled strongly of alcohol and had bloodshot, watery eyes. While the man was being escorted outside the restaurant, he was having trouble keeping his balance. Since the man was presumably drunk while driving through the drive-thru, he was asked to perform roadside sobriety maneuvers, which he failed. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI and later released.

SKATEBOARDER ARRESTED ON WARRANT
At about 12:30 a.m. May 19, an officer observed three teenagers skateboarding in the parking lot of the Parker Recreation Center, 17301 Lincoln Ave. One of the teens, a 19-year-old Parker man, was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Denver for contempt of court. He was arrested and transported to the Parker Police department where he later was bonded out.

WEAVER ARRESTED FOR DUI
An officer pulled over a motorist for weaving near Twenty Mile and Parker roads at about 1 a.m. May 15. The driver, a 53-year-old man, smelled of alcohol and his eyes were bloodshot and watery. He said he was leaving Tailgate Tavern, 19552 Mainstreet, where he drank four beers and one shot. After failing roadside sobriety maneuvers, he was arrested on suspicion of DUI and transported to the Parker Police Department.

'HARRY CONNICK JR.' ARRESTED
Deputies responded to a disturbance at Lodo's Bar and Grill, 8545 S. Quebec St., in Highlands Ranch, at about 7:30 p.m. May 21. A 38-year-old manager said a customer, later identified as a 36-year-old Aurora man, was escorted out of the bar after causing a disturbance. A waitress cut off the 36-year-old because he was visibly intoxicated. He responded by calling her a derogatory name and grabbing her by both arms. The manager then came over and asked him to leave, and the 36-year-old got in his face and pushed him in the chest. The 36-year-old then tried to punch the manager, but the manager moved out of the way. The 36-year-old also reportedly identified himself to the waitress as Harry Connick Jr. He was arrested on suspicion of harassment and disorderly conduct.

HOUSE SPRAY PAINTED
A deputy responded May 21 to a house under construction on the 9200 block of Wild Elk Place in Parker on a report of vandalism. Someone had spray painted the letters "MOB," a swastika, racial slurs and expletives in red and black paint on the west side of the house. There are no suspects.

GOLF CLUB SIGN DEFACED
On May 21, a deputy responded to The Club at Pradera, 5225 Raintree Drive, on a report of vandalism. Someone had spray painted the word "ballz" in orange paint on the golf club's main entrance sign. There are no suspects.

BROKEN LOCK COSTS MAN STEREO
On May 22, a 17-year-old Highlands Ranch man reported a theft. He said he and his family went on a camping trip May 17, and when he returned May 22 he noticed someone had stolen the stereo out of his '78 Chevy Blazer. He said the front passenger door was not locked because the lock is broken. The estimated value of the stereo is $1,700.

BUSINESS LIGHTS SHOT OUT
A deputy responded May 20 to C & A Companies, 333 Tessa Drive, on a report of criminal mischief. The business owner, a 55-year-old man, said he did a routine check of the business at about noon and discovered two lights at the entrance had been shot out with a shotgun. He said he found four shotgun shells near the entrance, in front of his mailbox. The lights were completely destroyed and the light posts had shotgun pellet in them. The estimated cost of damage is $500. There are no suspects.
