Blotter: Drunken man arrested at Buffalo Boyd's

DRUNKEN MAN ARRESTED
An officer responded to Buffalo Boyd's saloon and restaurant, 12543 N. Colorado 83, at about 2:30 a.m. May 26 on a report of an unwanted customer. A 25-year-old Aurora man was staggering outside the bar. He had bloodshot, watery eyes and smelled of alcohol. He also had a scrape on his forehead and was bleeding from a cut above his eye. A bartender said the 25-year-old left the bar at 1:50 a.m. and tried to reenter at about 2:20 a.m. The bartender told him to leave, and the 25-year-old tried to punch him. The bartender subdued him on the ground until police arrived. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and later released.

MAN ARRESTED FOR OUTSTANDING WARRANTS

At about 3 a.m. May 25, an officer observed a motorist driving on Cottonwood Drive near Parker Road with the driver's side door wide open. The vehicle's windshield had three horizontal cracks on it, preventing the driver from seeing clearly. The driver, a 21-year-old Aurora man, was found to be driving under restraint and he had two warrants for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office.

MAN'S CAR, FLAG VANDALIZED
A 34-year-old Englewood man reported May 25 that someone punctured holes in the wheels of three of his cars and put holes in the American flag displayed in his front yard. The vandalism occurred sometime between 12:30 and 9 a.m. May 25. The man, who lives on the 6900 block of East Edgewood Court, suspects the damage may have been done by his wife's sister's ex-husband. The damage was estimated at $3,430.

LAPTOP, CAMERA STOLEN
A 46-year-old Englewood man reported someone stole a laptop and digital camera from his car sometime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. May 22 while it was parked on the 9700 block of Pyramid Court. The estimated loss was $1,700.

GOLF CLUBS STOLEN
An 18-year-old Castle Rock man reported someone stole his golf clubs and iPod from his car sometime between 9 p.m. May 23 and 10 a.m. May 24 while it was parked on the 900 block of Glen Oaks Avenue. The loss was estimated at $2,480.

WOMAN'S CAR VANDALIZED
A 50-year-old Highlands Ranch woman reported someone put several dents in her car sometime between May 27 and 28. The woman, who lives on the 10700 block of Cougar Canyon, believes a group of teens did the damage. She said the teens rang her doorbell at 10 p.m May 27 and left a pile of feces on her doorstep. They later screamed obscenities at her as well, she said. The damage to the car was estimated at $1,000.

CHURCH WINDOWS SHOT OUT
An employee at Faith Baptist Church, 11150 Hilltop Road, reported someone shot out five double-paned windows at the church sometime between 2 p.m. May 25 and noon May 26. The damage was estimated at $2,000.

CAMERA, LENSES STOLEN
A 36-year-old Parker man reported someone stole a camera and lenses from his car sometime between 1 and 2:30 p.m. May 28 while it was parked at Peak Athletics Plus, 399 Dad Clark Drive. The loss was estimated at $1,150.

MAILBOX BLOWN UP
A 61-year-old Parker man reported someone blew up his mailbox with firecrackers sometime between 4 p.m. May 26 and 5 p.m. May 27. The man, who lives on the 4800 block of North Bayou Hills Road, estimated the damage at $50.
