Reported by Parker Police
MAN ARRESTED ON WARRANT
Police responded to a report of a fight at Funugyz, 17785 Cottonwood Drive, in Parker, at 2 a.m. July 30. Parker Police saw a 31-year-old man yelling and flashing gang signs at the bouncers outside the bar. The man told the officer that the bouncers and some patrons at the bar had challenged him to a fight. A bouncer told the officer the man was acting boisterous and was escorted from the bar. Police determined the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant in Denver County. While searching the man during his arrest, the officer found a small amount of marijuana in a baggie hidden in the man's sock. The man was taken to the Douglas County Jail.
DRIVER ARRESTED
Police responded to a report of a drunk driver leaving Buffalo Boyd's Bar, 12543 N. Highway 83 in Parker at 6:49 p.m. Aug. 3. The dispatcher told the officer that several people had tried to stop the driver because he had a lot to drink, but they were unsuccessful. Parker Police located the truck driving south on Parker Road and the officer saw the truck cut several people off and weave between lanes before the officer pulled the truck over at the intersection of Twenty Mile Road and Dransfield Road. The 34-year-old driver refused to perform voluntary roadside maneuvers and attempted to "head-but" and swore at the officer several times as he was being taken into custody. The driver was taken to the Douglas County Jail.
MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUNK DRIVING
Parker Police were dispatched to the intersection of Jordan Road and E470 at 10:38 p.m. July 30 on a report of a car in a ditch. Police determined a 65-year-old man had drove north in the southbound lane of Jordan Road, hitting a car head on, striking a sign and eventually rolling to a stop on the side of the road. The man, who said he had had several beers at Buffalo Boyd's Bar earlier in the evening, was taken to Porter Adventist Hospital. Parker Police determined the man's license was revoked due to an alcohol related incident.
