Parker Police
WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DUI
Police responded to a report of a truck high centered on a curb at 9:54 p.m. Aug. 7 on Mainstreet near Victorian Circle. The 31-year-old driver told the officer she had just bought the truck and was not used to driving it. The officer smelt alcohol on the driver's breath and asked her if she had been drinking. The woman told the officer she had two glasses of wine earlier in the evening. The woman failed the roadside sobriety test and was arrested.
PURSE STOLEN FROM CAR
An officer responded to a report of a theft of a purse at 3:44 p.m. Aug. 8. The officer spoke to a 66-year-old woman at her home on the 11000 block of Wray Court who said she met a friend at McDonald's, 10011 Jordan Road, at 11 p.m. and left her car unlocked. When she returned home, she realized her purse was gone. The woman told the officer there was $40 in the purse, and the purse itself was valued at $25. There are no suspects.
