Parker Police

WOMAN HIT WITH LUNCH BOX

Officers were sent to the 20000 block of Aintree Court at 10:30 p.m. Aug. 19 on a report of a domestic disturbance. A woman told the officers she went to her ex-husband's apartment to pick up their child. The woman was on her cell phone in the car when her ex-husband came out of his apartment with their child and told her to "get off her damn phone." The woman responded in a derogatory manner and the man hit her in the face with a soft-sided lunch box, giving her a bloody nose. The woman told her ex-husband she was going to call the police and he went into his apartment, grabbed his keys and left in a truck. The police found the man's truck at Parker Valley Hope, 222422 E. Mainstreet, Parker, where he works. Police searched the area but could not find the man. At 10:50 p.m. the man called one of the officers and said he wanted to turn himself in. The officer met the man at the intersection of Mainstreet and Canterberry Parkway and he was taken into custody without incident.

MAN ARRESTED ON WARRANT

Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 19000 block of Rosewood Court at 11:31 p.m. Aug. 23. The officer spoke to a man who said he was having an argument with his sister about an hour before the officer arrived. The man said the argument never became physical. The officer determined the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Littleton and was arrested.
