Police Blotter: Halloween Caper
Contributed by: YourHub.com on 10/10/2008

Halloween Caper
On Sept. 30 at 1:03 p.m., police responded to Wal-Mart at 11101 Parker Road, on a report of a shoplifter. The loss prevention agent at the store told officers he observed a man go to the Halloween clearance section of the store where he proceeded to take four black wigs and place them in his backpack before exiting the store. When he tried to contact the shoplifter, the shoplifter put up a physical struggle and ran from the loss prevention agent. Another customer saw the struggle, and helped to get the shoplifter back into the store. The entire incident was captured on camera. The wigs were valued at $5 each, and the loss prevention agent told officers he would like to file harassment charges against the shoplifter.
