Parker ICAC Task Force makes arrest


On June 25, in a joint investigative effort by Parker Police Department and the Brookings Police Department, South Dakota, Daniel D. Hintz, 51, was arrested at his home in Aurora, South Dakota, on charges of Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child, Internet Luring and Promotion of Obscenity to a Minor.

Hintz's arrest was the result of an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation when he contacted an undercover Parker Police detective posing as a juvenile. Hintz is in custody awaiting extradition to Colorado from South Dakota.

The Parker Police Department is a member of the national Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force which is funded by a grant from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
