Parker Police: Solicitor arrested on warrant


Door-to-door salesman refuses to stop. After telling a 20-year-old man to stop soliciting in the area of 10635 Clarke Farms Drive, Parker, Parker Police officers found him selling in the same area an hour later at 4:21 p.m. Aug. 15. Officers issued the man a summons and gave him a ride to 7-Eleven so he'd stop soliciting.

Poor driving leads to arrest. At 10:11 p.m. Aug. 11, Parker Police officers observed a red Ford Escort at the intersection of Parker Road and Hess road, Parker, fail to turn from the turn-only lane at Shady Ridge Parkway. Officers issued a traffic stop, and upon clearing the 20-year-old driver, found he was driving on a revoked license in an uninsured car. Officers arrested the man.

Solicitor arrested on a warrant. At 6:38 p.m. Aug. 13, Parker Police officers were dispatched to the west doors of Walmart, 11101 Parker Road, Parker, on a report of two men selling fliers and being pushy. One of the solicitors, a 21-year-old man, had a misdemeanor warrant out of Larimer County with a bond of $225. Officers arrested the 21-year-old.
