Officer injured by solicitor. At 5:54 p.m. Aug. 25, Parker Police officers responded to a report of rude and aggressive solicitors selling magazines at a home on the
12900 block of Arezzo Circle, Parker. Officers approached a 25-year-old woman, who became confrontational after they told her she would be issued a summons for soliciting without a permit. Officers eventually detained her, but one officer reported an ankle injury as a result of the confrontation.
Man passes out in street. An 18-year-old man was found intoxicated in front of Children's Choice Childcare,
12201 S. Parker Road, Parker, at 11:09 p.m. Aug. 28. The man did not know the date, his location or name. He admitted to Parker Police officers he drank too much Jack Daniels. He was arrested for an alcohol violation.
Broken brake light leads to arrest. At 9 a.m. Aug. 31, Parker Police officers initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of
Jordan Road and Pine Lane in Parker, for a car that had a broken brake light. The driver, a 30-year-old man, was found to have a warrant for his arrest for failing to appear on a traffic offense. The man was arrested.
Douglas County school storage burglarized. A 33-year-old superintendent for RMK Electric reported a burglary at 8:12 a.m. Aug. 24 at a Douglas County Schools storage facility at
701 Prairie Hawk Drive, Castle Rock. The man told Castle Rock Police someone cut the exterior padlock and used a wheeled cart to load up $3,000 worth of equipment, tools and wire.
$20,000 worth of property taken from rental. At 8:40 a.m. Aug. 24, Castle Rock Police were dispatched to a rental property on the
3900 block of Alcazar Drive, Castle Rock, on a report of a burglary. A 45-year-old leasing agent reported cabinets, sinks, toilets and light fixtures missing from the home.
Truck burglarized in parking lot. A 56-year-old man reported a toolbox missing from his truck parked in the parking lot at Napa Auto,
1133 Caprice Drive, Castle Rock. The man told Castle Rock Police someone stole his toolbox and tools, valued at $200, while he was inside shopping.
