Parker Police: Men cited for marijuana

Texting while driving leads to arrest. At 11:18 a.m. Sept. 17, Parker Police officers responded to a report of a reckless driver at the intersection of South Parker and Hess roads. The reporting caller observed the driver, a 19-year-old woman, texting while driving and swerving in and out of lanes. Upon talking with the driver, officers discovered she was driving with a revoked license and was unable to provide proof of insurance.

Men cited for marijuana. At 11:36 p.m. Sept. 20, officers with the Parker Police Department observed an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man smoking marijuana in Cottonwood Park located at Apache Plume Drive and Greengrass Way in Parker. OnPolice found one joint on the 19-year-old man.
