Lone Tree Police: Man runs from cab fare


Entertainment system stolen from car. At 2 p.m. Sept. 18, a 35-year-old woman reported to the Lone Tree Police Department her car broken into in front of the U.S. postal service store, 8878 Maximus Drive, Lone Tree. A DVD player, iPod, speakers and amplifier were stolen. The woman said she was in the store for only an hour.

Man runs from cab fare. At 10:27 p.m. Sept. 18, a Lone Tree Police officer responded to the area of Ptarmigan Trail and Crosby Drive in Lone Tree, on a report of a theft. A 40-year-old man told officers a passenger he picked up in the Denver Tech Center ran from his cab fare of $34.
