Scout erects sign at Northeast Elementary

Cody Gallagher, a junior at Chaparral High School and member of Boy Scout Troop 469, coordinated the acquisition of materials and worked with the school, community members, and his troop to construct the marquee at Northeast Elementary School.

Darren Knox, Principal, said, "For nearly three years, while I have been at Northeast Elementary, I have had a vision of getting a marquee in place to mark the 'official' entrance of the school.Furthermore, I wanted something to display communication of important school events to the community.Thankfully, because of you (Cody) and your efforts, the vision is now a reality!"
