There was a female party in the hotel room who has been taken into custody and is not being identified at this time.

The male party is also not being identified at this time.

The 18th Judicial District Critical Incident Team (CIT) was called in to investigate the shooting.

The SWAT Team is made up of deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, officers from the Lone Tree and Parker Police Departments, and medics from the Parker Fire District. All officers directly involved in the shooting have been put on administrative leave pending the CIT investigation.
