Captain Mark Battjes, Commander of Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment is one of many US Army troops making positive changes in the political, economic and security situation for the Jamia neighborhood of western Baghdad.
His letter to Parker and Castle Rock residents posted October 14 in YourHub indicated actions that US forces would be taking to increase local security and help develop the local economy.
