What are the biggest issues facing community now: Growth, Growth, Growth. Parker needs to remain a great place to raise a family. Growth is inevitable, but smart growth is the key. We need smart growth to promote a sense of community, not sprawl. We need smart growth that will mesh with existing neighborhoods and preserve the small amount of Parker's history we still have. Following the town's planning guidelines, and communicating with Douglas County and surrounding cities is crucial. Having a Town Council that understands the details of the construction business, how it includes proper care of the environment, endangered species, storm water pollution, traffic, and infrastructure will help smart growth become a reality. We want our children and grandchildren to be able to say they are proud to live in Parker.

Other issues are annexation both for Parker and surrounding cities, town services and activities, crime, the tax on food items, and preserving open space.
