My name: Mark Scaperlanda
Age: 45
My family: Wife,
Michele, son,
Luke
What I do: Software developer
My favorite place in town to hang out: O'Brien Park (we really like movie night) and we usually go out to dinner/lunch two or three times a week at one of the fine Parker restaurants.
What I like most about living here: The environment we live in is wonderful with all of the friendly courteous people.
My interests and hobbies: Traveling, playing poker, bowling, bike riding and more.
What is my favorite thing to cook: Baby back ribs, steak, crab legs, eggs benedict and more.
People who inspired me (and how): My father for all he has accomplished.
How I have contributed to the community: To this point in time it's mainly paying taxes. I have volunteered on field trips at my son's school but I felt that was a contribution from the community to me since I enjoyed it so much.
What are the biggest issues facing Parker now: Planning for growth seems to happen after the growth has occurred.
Parker appears to be reactive to growth instead of proactive. We need to plan the infrastructure before or during the growth instead of after a project is done.
