My family: Wife, Franceen Thompson, son, David Thompson (second grade - Legacy Point Elementary), daughter, Alison Thompson (Kindergarten - Legacy Point Elementary)

What I do: I am the Client Services Manager at Nine Systems Corporation. We are a Content Delivery Network Company. Basically we have a big network of servers that stream video and music to people on the Internet.

My favorite place in town to hang out: Pretty much anywhere on Mainstreet in downtown Parker and the Rec Center.

What I like most about living here: The schools, people, and neighborhood make Parker a great place to live.

My interests and hobbies: Cycling, golf, soccer and baseball

What is my favorite thing to cook: Barbecue ribs and brisket

People who inspired me (and how): My late grandfather Virgil Thompson. He made sure I went to church every opportunity that I could, kept me out of trouble, and taught me that when you help others with their needs, your needs will be taken care of.

How I have contributed to the community: I am a Cub Scout Den Leader for Pack 469 and I coach youth soccer, baseball and basketball.

What are the biggest issues facing Parker now: The biggest issues facing Parker now are city population growth, transporation growth and business/economic growth.
