Ted Pascoe's Petulant Stunt

I wasn't aware until today that being a petulant, crying, whining, temper tantrum-throwing post-adolescent baby was a front-section news story for the Denver Post to cover. But that's exactly what Ted Pascoe is being as head of Senior Support Services in Denver.

Let me get this straight.

Petulant whiney big baby Ted Pascoe of Senior Support Services has been told "No" by his "parents" (DRCOG - Denver Regional Council of Governments) for evidently the first time in his life at his request for money.

Ted basically throws a temper tantrum, wails, cries, pouts, and tells his parents (DRCOG) he's going to his "room" (self-imposed semi-homelessness for a limited period of time) and isn't coming out until he gets his way.

The Denver Post and reporter Colleen O'Connor, acting as enablers, decide to give this spat credibility by covering it in their newspaper and notify Child Services (and everyone else reading the Post) of potential child abuse!

"Child Services personnel" (Mayor Hick, Gov Ritter, Senator Bennet) now get involved in what they clearly see as child abuse by the parents (DRCOG).

Ted's parents (DRCOG) now come under fire as being "bad" parents...with the help of the Denver Post.

Explaining that these are tough economic times, the parents (DRCOG) try to explain that they just can't give Little Teddy everything he wants anymore because they are having to cutback...like everyone else who actually has to work for a living and isn't on the government dole.

But that's not good enough for Little Teddy...who begins to see that his juvenile behavior and actions are about to get him what he wants...and a big reason for that is the Post's coverage of this stupid story.

I look forward to the last story in this saga that is sure to play-out in the next couple of weeks with Little Teddy Pascoe getting his money from somewhere.

At which point you should again give this story front-section coverage...preferably with a picture of Ted Pascoe with a big grin on his face, in a diaper, with a big baby bottle in his mouth with the figure "$75,000" written on it.
