Emmy winning Channel 9 gets "Floozied"

Purple and red invaded Denver's Channel 9 studios on Saturday, March 8.

The Floozies of Parker were guests of Randy Barber, of KUSA, for a tour that opened up the behind the scenes, inner workings and multi-faceted company that is rated Denver's number one "Station of Excellence".

Information stops included Master Control, Audio, Directors Control room, Newsroom, Weather center and Weather garden.

Barber explained the "9Cares" programs, digital television transition that will occur on February 17, 2009, "Colorado and Company " programming and "MY20" channel upcoming events.

What did the Floozies take away from this adventure? For one.....

A better understanding and complete admiration for the live television news teams, reporters, writers and technical personnel that provide our daily 'must have', instant and factual information .
