I am sure you have heard the song "
Stars Fell on Alabama
". On Friday night in Parker, dippin' dots, miniature marshmellows and moth balls fell on Colorado!
I am not a song writer, but somewhere in this evening of pink lightning, thunder snow and dippin' dots there has to be a tune with catchy lyrics.
It only lasted for about 2 hours, but the Colorado weather has a way of giving us some very unusual 'nature performances'.
As the old saying goes(I have heard this hundreds of times in the last two years), wait five minutes and the weather will change for you.

My friends and I were doing the First Friday art walk down Santa Fe Friday night and we were shocked (heh) by the lightning and thunder. We first thought someone was taking a photo of us, but then the rumble of thunder followed the flash. It was unbelievable.
