Community turns out for Railbender grand opening

The skate park and tennis courts were packed as the town of Parker celebrated the grand opening of Railbender Skate and Tennis Park on May 30.

People spread out on the grassy lawn to enjoy live music and soak up the sun. Skate boarders, bikers, rollerbladers and even kids on scooters zoomed throughout the complex. This event included skate and tennis demonstrations and competitions, vendors, concessions, music and giveaways.

Railbender is located at Twenty Mile Road and Plaza Drive.
