DUDE! I don't have 11 best friends.

But, if you choose my entry, I'll become Ms Popularity, with tons of new best friends clamoring to join me in this awesome suite. Plus, by choosing me, you'll help me in my new job. You know how it is, you start a new job, have to get to know everyone, discover the right people to suck up to and impress.

If I can take 11 of my coworkers (and boss), the benefits will be threefold: first - I'll make a fantastic impression, second - I can auto-suck up to everyone (can't really make anyone mad for being left out because there are only about a dozen employees in our office) and third - the boss will remember me when it comes time to hand out that Christmas bonus.

This entry is coming to you from high in the mountains in Summit County, and since someone from here rarely gets picked for anything because our entries get lost in the millions you get from the front range, this would be a boost to the Denver News Agency subscriptions because everyone here will think, "Hey, I have a chance against those front range weenies".

I cannot wait to be sitting in one of your luxury suites, watching the Rocks beat down the D-backs. See ya there. Incidentally, don't let the "dude" comment fool you. I'm 52, and married for 34 years, so I guess that means I'll only take 9 friends, plus my boss, plus my husband if he promises to leave his Yankees cap at home.

I remember back in the early 90's and the players and coaches were sent around the state to all the small towns for meet n greets. I found out the day Dante and crew were going to be at our local radio station in southern colorado, called all my fifth graders' parents for permission and we walked to the station for autographs and pictures.

I still have my orignial Rockies cap with Dante as my first autograph on it (it is filling up) and I would love to get Dinger's dino print on it so maybe he could join us in the suite.

We try to get to a couple of games a year, sit in Pat's section in the Club level, and enjoy watching all the games on tv here in the mountains but what a treat it would be to enjoy one of your luxury suites along with my 11 new best friends!
