Texas RoadHouse (A)
Contributed by: Sean Morrissey on 12/18/2007

The Texas Roadhouse located on Twenty Mile Rd and Parker Rd, is a great family environment. I was a little worried, the parking lot was full and I had to park closer to Wal-Mart so I thought the wait would be long. Amazingly, we were seated right away. They placed us in a small table for two it was a bit cramped (the Christmas cookies are getting to me), so they immediately moved us to a larger table.

Our server Chris was very friendly was very attentive, it is great to find good service these days. Upon seating, they give you a bucket of roasted peanuts and some dinner rolls. These rolls are to die for and were served with a cinnamon butter which was equally as good. I ordered up some sweet tea which was just as good as tea straight out of the south. I ordered the smothered chicken which was two chicken breasts smothered with sauteed mushrooms and cheese and some fresh veggies. My wife ordered the Dallas steak with baked potato.

i must say the dinners arrived quick hot and fresh. I was really impressed with the flavor. The chicken was very tender and no fat at all on the meat.My wife must have enjoyed her dish as well as she did not offer me a single bite. The meals were very filing so unfortunately, dessert was out of the question.

I highly recommend that you give the Texas Road House a try.
