Well I must say, this is my first bad review and it is a restaurant I have visited in other locations and enjoyed. However, a review is a review, it is not my fault they had a bad night. You just never who is going to come in and now you have an article posted on YourHub.com.
I visited the Chili's on Parker Rd and Twenty Mile Rd. I was with my wife and her brother and 9 year -old daughter. The place was full, but we were seated quickly by a friendly hostess. Yes there is a catch, this is where is went downhill.
Unfortunately, our waiter took almost 10 minutes to greet us at our table and take our drink order. Our waiter seemed to be having a bad day, very short, just asked what we wanted and brought drinks to the table. When we said thank you, he just said "mhmm."
We ordered our food, My brother-in law and his daughter both order fajitas, my wife and I ordered burgers well-done. after a short while, our food arrived. All was good, except my wife's burger was rare. So we sent it back. One thing to note, was my wife placed the fixings on the burger before she bit into it to discover that it was rare. I know we were at a Chili's not a 5-star steak house, but they just re-heated the burger, the mustard and ketchup had a nice charred appearance. Surprisingly, our waiter never apologized, just dropped off our food and went to the waiters station to chit-chat (yes, we could see him). We continuously had to ask for our own refills.
So as we left, we asked for the manager and explained our situation. He was very apologetic and said he was filling orders int he back and unable to watch the floor, so he took full responsibility. We shook his hand and left.
Not much else I can say here, but I just hope we had a bad server and it was a bad day. I find it hard to believe that any manager would allow this service to take place. I'll bet the never thought they would read about on the web for all to see.
