Big D's BBQ - The REAL thing at a REAL good price

At a time when more and more restaurants are going away, especially the "mom & pop" varieties, Big D's brings a ray of light to Parker. For those of us who know what real bbq is supposed to taste like (without sauce), we are pleasantly pleased to enjoy the expertise of Big D's. They are located on the opposite side of BB's Bistro, across the parking lot of Panera's and the now extinct Chees Burger Chees Burger.
The meats are perfect, the sauce is completely unique and wonderful, and the sides are surprisingly tasty. There does not seem to be a pre-made item on the menu.
I was also happy to see that my kids ate free Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (I think). We were there on a Tuesday and they were free. We did splurge for a drink for them. Which reminds me of their sweet tea. It was still hot, which shows that it was from scratch. It rocked!
They do not have a liquor license yet, but the cashier said that it was on its way.
Give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
